I don’t think any reverse phone searches are free as it costs them lots of time and money to get the information of the millions of phone numbers. Some of the respected companies offer a service whereby you can look up the information a specific number for a once off cost of less than $10.

I would personally pay that if the person was harrassing me or becoming quite threatening. But if the person just missed called you on odd occassions then it probably wouldn’t be worth it unless you know they were stalking you. I would definitly check out the number if I saw my girlfriend was receiving calls from it though.
